Mr. John Forsberg

We first encountered John while frequenting Carson Hot Springs Resort (formerly known as Saint Martin’s Hot Springs) where he works as a massage therapist. John has lived in the Columbia River Gorge with his spouse Ana for 25 years. They have three grown sons and enjoy their six grandchildren. John has worked in the health/wellness arena for many years. He was an EMT for over 20 years, working as a volunteer for Skamania County EMS. John also worked as an Incident Medical Specialist (IMS) and member of the Pacific Northwest Interagency Incident Command System. Having served as an EMT on wildland fires and other incidences throughout the years, Mr. Forsberg can handle the heat! After retiring as a Forester from the U.S. Forest Service in 2002, he studied reflexology and massage under Shellie Earley at the International College of Universal Reflexologies in Camas, Washington. As of late, John has studied and added Pranic Healing to his wellness skills. When not working at Carson Hot Springs Resort, John offers free massage, reflexology, and healing services by appointment out of his home in Stevenson, WA. John’s signature treatments incorporate Young Living essential oils and the use of hot serpentine body rocks for a truly relaxing experience. As a practicing Buddhist, his daily devotions consist of chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo and reciting portions of the Lotus Sutra.
