Lucia Gonzales M.A LPC

Lucia is a licensed professional mental health counselor who has nine years of experience working with a variety of mental health issues in both adult & child populations. She received her bachelor's degree in psychology from Portland State University and her master's degree in counseling psychology from Pacific University, with a focus on cognitive behavioral therapies. She has additional training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and trauma focused work. In addition to more traditional therapies, Lucia also takes a mind/body approach to well-being and believes that it is important for an individual to take personal responsibility for their growth; This includes being mindful of nutrition, exercise, environment, and any spiritual practice that the individual is comfortable with. Lucia is working in a community mental health setting and is not currently taking clients in private practice. She hopes to be more available privately in the coming future.
